Fantastic service! On May 15, 2014, I had a three hour drive home and right as I was leaving my home in Chico I noticed that my temperature gauge was acting up. It slowly went back to normal but I was concerned it would act up as I was on the highway and I would be left stranded on the side of the road. I quickly gave them a call hoping they could fit me in for an inspection. Thankfully, Dan told me that he could fit me in and before I knew it I was on my three hour drive home safe and sound. Thank you Chico Car Care.

My family was on a road trip from Central Coast California to Oregon in a rental car, when we noticed a funny little shape on the dash board. It was a light informing us we had low tire pressure. We were on I-5 getting close to Chico, and there was a huge accident on the freeway by Orland. I was massively helped by Tanya Torst at CHICO CAR CARE, Independent Toyota Lexus Specialist, who informed me of the best way to get to Chico and what exactly to do about the tire, given we had a rental car and were not at all familiar with Chico. Tanya and Daniel of CHICO CAR CARE, Independent Toyota Lexus Specialist also gave us excellent directions for finding our way back over to I-5 after our stop in Chico. If I'm anywhere near Chico and have trouble with my Toyota, I know where I'll go for help.

I'm reluctant to rate them so high, no because they're not awesome, but because I don't want everyone to take up the time of the best damn mechanic in Butte County. Seriously great mechanic.

I make minimum wage--not complaining, I'm a simple man--and I bring my 91 Ranger here because they do good thorough work. I've taken my dad and dog to LA and back several times, plus commute every day; it runs great and passes smog easily. When I needed several things done at once they didn't double bill for labor that was already priced into the deepest thing. Plus, they give straight answers with zero attitude.

We were on a mega road trip and our car started making a strange whistling or whirring noise. We were concerned the car might stop running, so we stopped in Chico and checked into a hotel and called CHICO CAR CARE, Independent Toyota Lexus Specialist randomly (the 1st shop said he didn't have time, he was about to close). It was Friday at 5pm. Dan, said he wouldn't have the Volvo part anyway, but insisted we drive on over so he could diagnose what it was and help us out. He had no money to make on this, but was just doing a good turn. We got there after he was supposed to close and he stayed and diagnosed the problem with efficiency and skill. He even did some research and printed out proof that this particular issue was a recall and gave us advice. We had no idea and it helped us to plan what we were going to do, knowing what it was. Eventually, a Volvo dealer did the work under warranty because of this man's honest and skilled assessment. Friendly, skilled, helpful, honest...I have only good things to say about this shop. This guy's a class act.
