I appreciate a business who overtly appreciates their customers. My general preference is to aim for privately owned small business -- keep resources circulating within the community. Dan, the owner, has always demonstrated his intent to keep each customer as his priority, where others might view my value only as high as the repeat and referral business I bring. Dan's approach is to treat the vehicles - our cars, vans, and trucks - as if they were his kids vehicles -- no greater motivation than that of a parent to ensure safety and long-term reliability over what would otherwise be one or more tons of explosive wrecking balls on the road. It's important, and he takes his service, responsibility, and commitment as seriously as any self-respecting adult would, or at least should. Dan also knows his customers. They aren't just walking ledger statements and line-items, we... Oddly enough.... We are, in fact, people. To him. And so the care and treatment we receive is better than just what you'd get from a larger company, where human effort only goes as far as temporal, limited, transactional customer satisfaction. And it's rather fitting that I was introduced to Dan and CHICO CAR CARE, Independent Toyota Lexus Specialist via referral. Do what he does, and the referrals do in fact grow organically.... Folks in Silicon Valley, etc. might do well to take note.
